Featured work: Just-Eat Partner Centre

Project summary

Just-Eat lets customers order meals online from their local takeaway, over 30 million meals are sold a year across 7 countries. I defined and designed a web-based management tool that enabled takeaway owners to manage their Just-Eat presence. This saved huge resources in the call centre where accounts were previously managed over the phone.

The brief

Design a management tool that restaurants can use to manage their Just-Eat presence. The tool should be compatible with touchscreen devices.

My work

  • Gathered the business requirements through stakeholder and user interviews and market/website analysis.
  • Translated the requirements into user stories and scenarios using the Gherkin BDD language.
  • Designed and tested the information architecture (open and closed card sorting, focus groups).
  • Produced clickable wireframes, concepts and prototypes.
  • Ran a number of usability workshop, where the wireframes and protoypes were tested against the target audience.
  • Designed and marked up, with standards compliant code, a touchscreen friendly web-based interface.

Featured work: ADP and Cashplus prepaid payroll solution

Project summary

Automatic Data Processing ($9 billion turnover) launched a prepaid payroll solution that successfully merged two brands. The project was delivered on time and within budget.

The brief

Automatic Data Processing (NASDAQ: ADP) provide payroll solutions for the world, with nearly $9 billion in revenues and almost 600,000 business clients they are the third largest payroll company in operation. Many of their clients have unbanked employees that receive their salary in a cheque format. ADP partnered with cashplus to provide a manageable salary solution for unbanked employees in the UK. I was tasked with creating the online solution.

My work

  • I created the brand identity for the partnership between ADP and cashplus brands.
  • I worked to complex compliance and finance regulations.
  • User research performed by both companies revealed broad target populations with differing demographic, psychographic and technographic breakdowns. The website strategy document I wrote considered all of these and propsed a simple payroll solution that would appeal to the target audience.
  • The information architecture and wireframing followed a series of user and stakeholder workshopps.
  • Usability testing ensured the website served functionality and content at the appropriate stages of the user journey.
  • The site was coded to DDA accessibility guidelines.
