Automatic Data Processing (NASDAQ: ADP) provide payroll solutions for the world, with nearly $9 billion in revenues and almost 600,000 business clients they are the third largest payroll company in operation. Many of their clients have unbanked employees that receive their salary in a cheque format. ADP partnered with cashplus to provide a manageable salary solution for unbanked employees in the UK. I was tasked with creating the online solution.
The contrasting brands of ADP and cashplus were merged to create a partnership that while standing alone as a distinctive brand, it could also be instantly recognised as the parent brand of each respective client base. This fusion took place under complex compliance and finance regulations.
User research performed by both companies revealed broad target populations with differing demographic, psychographic and technographic breakdowns. The strategy document I drafted considered all of these factors and presented a simple payroll solution that would appeal to anyone regardless of their background.
The IA, navigation and wireframes were fundamental in creating a user experience that was so obvious it could be accessible to all. By segmenting information and achieving clarity in the navigational structure of the site I was able to create a website that served creative and functionality at the appropriate stages of the user journey.
Automatic Data Processing (NASDAQ: ADP) provide payroll solutions for 600,000 clients across the globe, generating an annual turn over of nearly $9 billion. This business to business operation required both a b2b and b2c solution for this project.
